Teachers (+Subs) and Parents,
It is just a gently reminder, next week will be the 13th week. According to the academic calender Fall 2008, the 13th week of semester (17 January 2009) is time to have sholat review for all students. As announced by Bapak Arcandra at class last Saturday, during the review, the students will be asked:
1. Doa/Lafadz for performing sholah (From Niat until Tahiyatul akhir)
2. Juzama (the surah will be randomly chosen depending on the class level)
Each parent (as a teacher at home) is assigned to check again the makhraj (lafadz) for both doa sholah and memorizing surah. From the past review, the bottleneck for our students was memorizing doa Iftitah and doa Tahiyatul. To facilitate the review at home, parents are encouraged to assess the material in Basic Course level B100-400 (Orange Book) subject “Bacaan Sholat”, page 2 – 12.
For those students who are currently at B600 level, the review will also take accont of the meaning (Doa Iftitah and Surah Al-Fatihah). The student should have handout for this item.
Memorizing Surah (depending on the level) will include:
1. Surah Al-Fatihah
2. Surah An-Naas
3. Surah Al-Falaq
4. Surah Al-Ikhlash
5. Surah Al-Lahab
6. Surah An-Naashr
7. Surah Al-Kaafiruun
8. Surah Al-Kautsar
9. Surah Al-Maa’uun
10. Surah Al-Ashr
11. Surah At-Takatsur
12. Surah Al-Qadr
13. Surah Adh-Dhuha
14. Surah At-Tiin
15. Surah Al-Fiil
16. Surah Al-Humazah
17. Surah Al-Insyirah (Alam Nasyrah)
